Broadcasting since 1999
The longest-running online Irish station — jigs, reels, airs and sessions from the heart of the city to listeners all over the world.
About the station
LiveIreland has been streaming traditional and contemporary Irish music from Dublin since 1999 — fiddle, pipes, whistle, accordion and bodhrán, plus live presenters and the odd bit of craic. Hosts over the years have included Klara McDonnell, Alan O'Leary, and guests from Dublin, London and Chicago.
Planxty, Lúnasa, The Dubliners, Solas, Daoirí Farrell, airs and sets — the station stays on the tradition rather than chasing pop playlists.
